Emergency Financial Contact Sheet and Secure Records
Keep enough information to locate and understand the financial system without creating a new security vulnerability.
- Maintain a secure inventory of banks, brokerage firms, retirement accounts, insurance, mortgage, CPA, attorney, financial adviser, estate documents, emergency contacts, major assets and digital assets.
- Do not place passwords in an unsecured spreadsheet or document.
- Use a secure credential system and establish an emergency-access procedure.
